
Sweet Corn is GREAT TO FREEZE!!
1. Pull back shucks & remove silks.
2. Remove Outside layer of shucks.
3. Put in freezer bags and seal.
Use within 3-4 months.

1. Blanch (boil) sweet corn 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Cool.
3. Cut off the cob.
4. Pack in pint or quart freezer bags. |
To cook frozen sweet corn:
Take out desired number of ears, shuck and boil for 8-10 minutes until hot.
Corn on the cob on the GRILL!!
1. Remove silks, but not husks.
2. Soak in cool water for 30 minutes.
3. Place on hot grill, when shucks are blackened,
it's ready to eat

Here's another tip: The sugar in sweet corn turns to starch soon after picking. Keep the corn cool to slow this process.
